SEMI FINALS
FINAL
WINTER SINGLES TENNIS LEAGUE REGULATIONS
1.
The matches are to be played in accordance with the Rules of Tennis, the Code of Conduct and East Wavertree LTC's clothing regulations. Each match shall be played on the basis of the best of three sets. The first two sets will use the tie break system which will apply at the score of six games all. The third set if applicable will be a championship tie-break (as per league matches) and
championship tie-breaks will only count towards the net sets calculation (see below)
2.
Andy McConville is the
Tournament Organiser,
any issues or queries should be referred to
Andy for adjudication in the first instance. In
the event that any dispute impacts the organiser,
assistant organiser Richard Meaghan will adjudicate, in the event that any dispute involves both the organiser
and the assistant organiser, then
Mike Darling will adjudicate.
The adjudicators decision is final.
3.
Each player will play each other once, which can be played at any time which is convenient to all parties,
all matches must be completed by Sunday 1st April 2012.

Individual players are responsible for organising their own matches, to obtain other competitors contact details

6.
Players are awarded
1 point for a win and league placings are determined as follows:-

7.
If any match is not completed due to injury, for the purpose of scoring, the non-injured player will
be considered to have won every game from the point of injury (including any incomplete game) upto
a winning scoreline
e.g. Player A is injured whilst leading 6-4 5-3 40-0, the final scoreline is
6-4 5-7 0-10.
8.
At end of play on the completion deadline (Sun 1st April 2012), the top 4 players will make up the semi-finalists, a draw will take place for the semi-finals, the winners of which will contest the Grand Final to determine the overall Winner/Runner Up.
Semi-Final and Final dates will be arranged nearer the time, and will be arranged at the convenience of the players involved.
